What is it about summer that makes us relax and enjoy the simple
things. We dig out our flip flops and shorts and head to our
backyards, the beach and if you're lucky enough a cottage.
Even
though work continues for us throughout the summer getting up at 6am
seems easier. We stanrt work knowing that at 3pm we can jump
in the car and head to the lake for a late lunch, play a round of golf
at a local course or just sped some time relaxing on our deck.
As
the Alice Cooper summer anthem states "School's out for summer". So,
it's now official - summer has begun. Grab a cold drink, head
outside and relax with your family and friends.

We
spend a lot of time at our outdoor harvest table. This year we
added a hanging lantern that we made from salvaged windows.
On a warm summer evening, it's our favourite place to enjoy a drink. |

Cabinets
It is all about colour this season! Recently,
we started to paint some of our cabinets in bright hues. Here are
two of our colourful cabinets that quickly found homes.

Part
of enjoying your deck is making it an outdoor room. Our outdoor
benches can be used as seating or even tables. Check out the
outdoor mat made from recycled plastic. We have a great selection
of these mats at the shop. |

Crazy Baby Accessories
When
I first saw Crazy Baby hats created and handmade by owner, Sarah, I had
to get them for the shop. These funky hats are made from 100% cotton
that is super warm and soft. The monkey and bear ears are adorable.
It's impossible to not smile when you see one of her hats on a baby.
